Help us build a place where curiosity comes to life

*Proposed Cedar City Town Square exhibit concept*
Every child deserves a place to explore, create, and discover what they’re capable of. We’re working to bring that kind of place to Cedar City, and we want your input to help shape it. Your feedback will help us understand what local families need and build a children’s museum that reflects our community.
Our Local Vision
Our vision is to create a children’s museum that feels at home in Cedar City. From the red rocks of Southern Utah to our downtown streets and love of the arts, our goal is to draw inspiration from the places and stories around us. We want to give children a place to follow their curiosity, families a place to spend meaningful time together, and our community something we can help shape and be proud of.
Your support will help turn big ideas into unforgettable childhood moments.
A Gathering Place for Families
Filling the gap for local families by providing meaningful, screen-free ways to learn and play together.
Economic Growth
Welcoming residents and visitors while supporting nearby small businesses.
A Partner for Schools
Extending the classroom through field trips, literacy, and hands-on exploration.
A Community Anchor
Built through collaboration, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

The Plan
Cedar City Children’s Museum is in the planning stage, and we’re building it one step at a time. Right now, we’re listening to local families, developing exhibit ideas, and raising early support. We haven’t chosen a location or set an opening date yet; those decisions will depend on community feedback, available space, and the funding we can raise. As the plans take shape, we’ll share our progress and ways you can help create a museum Cedar City’s children and families will love!
What we learn will help us refine the plans, identify a suitable location, and move toward opening with a thoughtful approach that we can sustain for years to come.
